A Spectacular Start: Our Cantonese Feast

The Culinary Club officially launched its journey with a spectacular Cantonese Feast on October 18, 2025 and what a way to begin! For our very first event, we successfully turned strangers into friends over shared plates, making new connections while discovering new food.

The kitchen was busy with dishes coming out left and right, creating a continuous stream of deliciousness. The adventurous maw paws coup set the tone for the night. While everything was incredible, my personal favorite was the Peking Duck and Kingdom Pork Chop which was a savory-sweet delight reminiscent of sweet and sour. We concluded the night on a high note with sticky, warm sesame balls, a first for me.

It was a fantastic night of flavor and fun. We all had a great time, and the excitement for future events is already building! We are looking forward to many more culinary adventures together.
